Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd. is seeking a confident PE Instructor to support a secondary school in Stanley with engaging and energetic PE sessions.

You will deliver pre-planned activities, support pupils of varying abilities, and help maintain a positive, safe environment for all students. The role is on-site and day-to-day, with responsibilities including effective group management, adherence to school policies, and promoting inclusive physical education.

Are you an adaptable PE Instructor who can motivate pupils of different abilities to participate in physical education?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Stanley who are looking for a PE Instructor to support their PE department. The school is seeking a confident and enthusiastic individual who can engage pupils and encourage positive participation in physical activity.

The school is looking to take on a PE Instructor on a day-to-day basis, delivering pre-planned PE sessions and supporting pupils across the secondary age range as required. The successful PE Instructor will be expected to manage groups effectively, follow school policies and create a positive and safe environment for pupils.

The successful PE Instructor will have:

• Relevant sports, coaching or PE qualification
• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils or young people
• Experience delivering sports or physical education sessions
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• An enthusiastic and adaptable approach
