Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is seeking a Part-time PE Teacher for a long-term contract. The role is four days per week, on-site, with an ASAP start, located at DE5 8NP. You will plan and deliver PE lessons, manage practical activities safely, and help students progress within the curriculum.

The successful candidate will hold QTS with a PE specialism and have experience teaching PE in a secondary setting, with a positive and adaptable approach. This contract runs until 4 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Must have QTS with PE specialism.
• Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the secondary PE curriculum.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Ability to deliver safe and engaging practical PE lessons.
• Positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach.

PE Teacher (Part-time, Contract)

The school is looking to take on a PE Teacher on a long-term, part-time basis, working four days per week with an ASAP start. The successful PE Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging PE lessons, managing practical activities safely and effectively, and supporting students to make progress within physical education.

The successful PE Teacher will have:

• QTS with a PE specialism
• Experience teaching PE within a secondary school
• Strong knowledge of the secondary PE curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• The ability to deliver safe and engaging practical lessons
• A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach
