Job summary

AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch) is seeking a Private Equity Solutions Architect to work with PE firms, their portfolio companies, and consulting partners to lead cloud adoption and solution design. You will translate business goals into architectural plans, drive technical engagement with C-level stakeholders, and shape reference architectures across Mergers and Acquisitions scenarios.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large IT/engineering programs.
• Experience working with PE firms or investment banking on technology strategy or IT implementations.
• Direct customer interaction in technical pre-sales, post-sales, consulting or support roles.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Scope and design AWS-based technical solutions for PE use cases (incl. third-party integrations).
• Own the technical relationship with PE firms and portfolio company executives; act as trusted advisor.
• Serve as a key technical member of the AWS PE team to help customers architect, build, migrate, or optimize apps on AWS.
• Build rapport with executives at PE firms and portfolio companies to discuss enterprise architecture, M&A, and cost optimization.
• Establish technical credibility to lead CTO/CIO discussions from customers and partners across the PE segment.
• Provide guidance to PE firms to develop cost optimization strategies based on budget constraints.
• Educate stakeholders about AWS technologies within the Private Equity ecosystem.
• Influence AWS roadmap based on customer feedback.
• Create and share best practices and reference architectures.
• Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture group through mentoring.
• Develop depth in technical domains relevant to customer outcomes.
