Job summary

Marks Sattin Executive Search is seeking an ambitious Chief Financial Officer to join a high-growth, PE-backed professional services business. You will partner with the CEO, PE fund and leadership team to accelerate growth, sharpen forecasting and provide robust financial insight to support decision-making.

The role focuses on building a scalable finance function, improving profitability and ensuring high-quality financial reporting while supporting the next phase of expansion and potential exit.

Qualifications

• CFO experience in PE-backed organisations.
• Proven M&A involvement and integration experience.
• Strong track record in value creation and growth acceleration.
• Expertise in forecasting, reporting and KPI development.
• Ability to manage lenders, covenants, liquidity and funding.

Responsibilities

• Own the finance function and provide commercial leadership to support growth.
• Strengthen forecasting, planning and management information for board & investors.
• Drive profitability improvement and visibility of cash generation and opportunities.
• Collaborate with CEO/PE fund and leadership team to deliver value creation plan.
• Lead debt facilities management and covenant compliance.

Education

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA), Chartered
