Job summary

Marshall Motor Group is seeking an eager mechanic to join our expanding workshop in the West Carr area. You will learn through our manufacturer accreditation training and progress within a busy multi-brand service centre, carrying out pre delivery inspections, routine maintenance and safety checks under supervision.

The ideal candidate holds Level 2 or 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (IMI/City & Guilds or equivalent) or is working toward Level 3, enjoys teamwork, follows processes and

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 2 or 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent). If Level 2, opportunity to progress to Level 3.
• Experience as a Technician/Mechanic with exposure to PDIs and basic service work.
• Strong teamwork; follows processes; adheres to safety and quality standards.
• Tech-savvy with comfort using iPads and digital workshop systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Pre Delivery Inspections on fleet and customer vehicles.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as oil and filter changes with digital write-ups and job card completion.
• Ensure every vehicle is fully compliant and safe for delivery.

Job description

Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.

• Someone with a recognised Level 2 or 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent). If you're Level 2, we can look at opportunities for you to become Level 3 accredited
• Someone with previous experience as a Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to PDIs and basic service work, from any background.
• Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.

In this role:

• You’ll carry out Pre Delivery Inspections on both fleet and customer vehicles
• You’ll handle vehicle maintenance tasks like oil and filter changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.
• You’ll ensure every vehicle that you work on is fully compliant and safe, ready for customer delivery,
