Job summary
Marshall Motor Group is seeking an eager mechanic to join our expanding workshop in the West Carr area. You will learn through our manufacturer accreditation training and progress within a busy multi-brand service centre, carrying out pre delivery inspections, routine maintenance and safety checks under supervision.
The ideal candidate holds Level 2 or 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (IMI/City & Guilds or equivalent) or is working toward Level 3, enjoys teamwork, follows processes and
Qualifications
- Recognised Level 2 or 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent). If Level 2, opportunity to progress to Level 3.
- Experience as a Technician/Mechanic with exposure to PDIs and basic service work.
- Strong teamwork; follows processes; adheres to safety and quality standards.
- Tech-savvy with comfort using iPads and digital workshop systems.
Responsibilities
- Carry out Pre Delivery Inspections on fleet and customer vehicles.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as oil and filter changes with digital write-ups and job card completion.
- Ensure every vehicle is fully compliant and safe for delivery.
