Job summary

Command Recruitment is seeking a PDI Technician to join a fast-growing group in their well-equipped workshop. You will handle pre-delivery inspections and routine servicing, with scope for Level 2 or 3 technicians and potential MOT duties if licensed.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule in a clean, supportive environment. You will work with a strong team in a no-bonus environment, receive ongoing training, and enjoy a great working atmosphere and on-site facilities.

Qualifications

• PDI knowledge and ability to prepare cars for resale.
• Basic servicing and light mechanical repair skills.
• MOT licence advantageous for extra pay.

Responsibilities

• General Servicing and light mechanical repairs.
• Getting used cars retail-ready for resale (brakes, pads, suspension, head unit replacements).
• Diagnose and repair vehicles following manufacturer guidelines.
• PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) and final vehicle quality checks.

PDI TECHNICIAN NEEDED

Exciting new Job for a fast-moving, Progressive Group due to expansion. We are looking for a PDI / Sales Preparation Vehicle Technician to keep up with demand within their sales department, getting cars ready for resale.

The skill range can be level 2 or level 3, so a Semi-Skilled or Qualified Technician who wants to learn more or an established Qualified Technician wanting to work in our client's world-class, well-equipped and clean workshop with superb facilities to make you feel at home.

This is a crucial role in the success of the business, as such, they offer a great package which sets them apart from other companies in their local area.

The salary on offer is £33,600 for a Qualified or Experienced Level 2 Technician.

On Top of this if you have an MOT licence you are paid £2,000 extra a year and they will keep your licence up to date by allowing you to do MOT too. However, this role is for a Vehicle Technician.
