Job summary

Command Recruitment is seeking PDI Technicians for a fast-moving, progressive group. The role is a 4 on 4 off shift and focuses on pre-delivery inspection and getting used cars ready for resale within the sales department.

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification is acceptable, from semi-skilled to fully qualified technicians. The salary is £33,600 for a qualified or experienced technician, with 38.5 hours per week over the year.

Qualifications

• Experience in PDI or willingness to learn pre-delivery checks.
• Ability to perform light servicing and repairs.
• Maintain high standards of quality control.

Responsibilities

• Perform general servicing and light repairs.

PDI TECHNICIAN: 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Exciting new Job for a fast-moving, Progressive Group due to expansion. We are looking for a few PDI / Sales Preparation Vehicle Technicians to keep up with demand within their sales department, getting cars ready for resale.

The skill range can be level 2 or level 3, so a Semi-Skilled or Qualified Technician who wants to learn more, or an established Qualified Technician wanting to work in our client's world-class, well-equipped and clean workshop with superb facilities to make you feel at home.

This is a crucial role in the success of the business, as such, they offer a great package which sets them apart from other companies in their local area.

The salary on offer is £33,600 for a Qualified or Experienced Technician. Weekly hours are only 38.5 over the year!

• General Servicing and light mechanical repairs
• Getting Used Cars retail-ready for resale (brakes, pads, suspension, head unit replacements - no heavy mechanics)
• Diagnose and repair vehicles following manufacturer guidelines
• PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection)
• Complete the final quality check on all vehicles
