Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd has partnered with a Stoke-based dealership to recruit a skilled PDI Technician. You will inspect both new and used vehicles to ensure they meet quality standards before customer delivery, contributing to the dealer group's reputation for excellence.

The role offers a competitive salary of £30,000 with potential to reach £34,000 OTE including bonuses, Monday to Friday 8:30am–5:00pm, with full manufacturer training and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in vehicle maintenance or repair.
• Proven experience as a vehicle technician, with specific experience in vehicle preparation or PDI work preferred.
• Full UK driving licence, with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new and used vehicles to verify compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Perform routine servicing and repairs following manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose faults accurately using diagnostic equipment and troubleshoot efficiently.
• Carry out visual health checks and document findings meticulously.
• Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and meet customer expectations before delivery.
• Assist in maintaining customer satisfaction through thorough attention to detail and quality workmanship.

• Competitive basic salary of £30,000, with the potential to earn up to £34,000 OTE including bonuses
