(including £25,000 - £34,000 basic depending on experience and qualifications, plus bonus)

Hours: (42) Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, and Saturday mornings on a rota.

Our Aftersales Manager at Stockport Renault is recruiting for a Prep Technician to join their friendly team, working in a fast-paced workshop environment. While working alongside experienced technicians, you will play a vital role in the team, carrying out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles. Our Aftersales Manager will provide ongoing support to ensure you have the tools needed to succeed in your role. Our technicians play a vital role within our Service team by delivering first-class customer service every time. We want you to be part of our success. If you have a Level 3 NVQ in light vehicle maintenance and repair (or equivalent), whether in a dealer group or independent garage, we want to hear from you! An MOT Tester qualification would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles, including:
• Fitting number plates
• Performing checks in line with manufacturers' guidelines
• Fitting any additional accessories requested by the customer
• Vehicle health checks and reporting any further work required

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, motor industry experience, and a full and valid UK driving licence. You should be self-motivated, supportive of your team, ambitious, eager to learn, and able to maintain the highest standards for all vehicles processed through our workshop.
