Job summary

Perfect Placement is recruiting on behalf of a client for a PDI Technician to join their busy workshop in High Ercall, Shropshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PDI Technician / Accessory Fitter in a reputable automotive business focused on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key duties include performing Pre-Delivery Inspections, vehicle health checks, basic servicing, and fitting accessories to manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a PDI Technician, Vehicle Technician or Accessory Fitter.
• High level of attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with excellent practical skills.
• Ability to work efficiently independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new and used vehicles.
• Conducting vehicle health checks and basic servicing tasks.
• Fitting vehicle accessories in line with manufacturer standards.
• Identifying mechanical or cosmetic faults and reporting them.
• Ensuring all vehicles are prepared and completed within specified delivery times.
• Maintaining accurate records of all completed work.
• Keeping the workshop clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
