Our client, a well-established main dealer in Derby, is seeking an experienced PDI Technician to join their professional team. Duties of the PDI Technician:
- Conduct high-quality Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new and used vehicles
- Complete servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
- Diagnose and repair vehicle faults efficiently and accurately
- Perform visual vehicle health checks
- Ensure vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and prepared to required standards
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and vehicle presentation
- Work effectively within a busy Aftersales team to meet deadlines and customer expectations
Requirements of the PDI Technician:
- Qualified to Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years' practical workshop experience
- Previous experience in PDI, vehicle preparation, servicing, or repairs advantageous
- MOT licence preferable
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to diagnose and repair vehicle faults
- Reliable, motivated, and a team player
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
