Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting for a PDI Technician at a well-established car dealership in Horsham. The role offers a competitive salary of £33,000 per year, with £34,000 for those holding an MOT licence, plus up to £7,000 OTE depending on performance, and a Monday to Friday 8am–5pm schedule.

The position includes a 20 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays, and a supportive workshop team of four colleagues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar PDI Technician role, ideally within a dealership or automotive workshop.
• Strong technical skills in vehicle diagnosis and basic electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using standard scanning tools (engine scans and EML lights).
• Complete pre-sale vehicle checks and prepare vehicles for sale.
• Upsell additional repairs or servicing where appropriate.
• Assist with general workshop duties, including repairs and service support.
• Ensure work is completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
