Job summary

A PDI Technician is sought by Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Ilkeston to join a busy fleet department and ensure vehicles are prepared to the highest standards before delivery.

Role involves PDIs on new and used vehicles, minor servicing, and fitting accessories where needed. A Full UK driving licence is essential, with training and progression opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Ability to conduct PDIs accurately and efficiently.
• Good understanding of vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Full UK manual driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles.
• Performing collection inspections prior to customer handover.
• Conducting minor servicing and mechanical repairs as required.
• Fitting accessories to vehicles when necessary as a PDI Technician.
• Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and company standards.
• Identifying and reporting any additional repair or safety issues.
• Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.

We are currently seeking an experienced PDI Technician to join a reputable main dealer in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled PDI Technician to work within a busy fleet department, ensuring vehicles are prepared to the highest standards before delivery.

• Competitive basic salary with OTE of £43,000+
• Monday to Friday working, 40 hours per week

Duties of a PDI Technician:
