Job summary

Logic360 is seeking a PDI Technician in Corby for a temporary position. Working hours are 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of £16.07 per hour. The role involves preparing new vehicles, conducting PDIs, safety and level checks, and liaising with the workshop team to meet deadlines.

Ideal candidates will have previous PDI experience, a Full UK/EU driving licence, and a right-first-time approach to quality. This is a client-facing workshop role within a specialist team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare new vehicles per PDI schedules for client fleets.
• Diagnose and report defects on vehicles.
• Ensure repair documents are completed accurately.
• Carry out PDIs, safety checks, levels checks and bodywork inspections.
• Coordinate with workshop team to meet deadlines and KPIs.
• Maintain high level of efficiency and right-first-time delivery.

Job Opportunity: PDI Technician

Salary:£16.07 per hour

Due to company success and expansion, our client is looking for a qualified or semi qualified PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) Technician to join their highly motivated technical team within the one of our specialist workshops. This job reports to Workshop Manager. No direct reports other than occasional supervision of trainees.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of new vehicles in accordance with PDI schedules for Client Fleets
• Diagnose and report any defects on these vehicles.
• Ensure that all repair documents are completed as required.
• Carry out PDIs / safety checks / levels checks and bodywork inspection on all types of vehicles
• Constructive liaison with workshop team members and working to deadlines
• Be able to maintain a high level of efficiency

Qualifications

• Previous valid experience
• Full UK/EU driving licence.

Skills and Experience

• Highly motivated with a strong focus on quality
• Brand experience is preferable, however manufacturer training will be supplied
• Ability to carry out PDI, safety, levels checks / bodywork inspections and report accurately
• Ability to work accurately to deadlines with set repair times whilst meeting set KPIs
• Positive and flexible attitude to work with a right first-time desire
