Job summary

Rocket Staffing Group Ltd is seeking a PDI Technician in Corby. The role involves preparing vehicles to PDI schedules for client fleets, diagnosing defects, and ensuring all repair documents are completed.

You will perform PDIs, safety checks, levels checks and bodywork inspections across various vehicle types, coordinating with the workshop team to meet deadlines and maintain high efficiency. The position offers an hourly rate of £16 and requires a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience performing PDI and safety checks on vehicles.
• Ability to inspect bodywork and report defects accurately.
• Must hold a full driving licence and be able to work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare new vehicles in accordance with PDI schedules for client fleets.

Job description

Position: PDI Technician

Salary: £16 per hour

Overtime: Paid after 12 weeks

Location: Corby

Shift: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Responsibilities

• Preparation of new vehicles in accordance with PDI schedules for Client Fleets
• Diagnose and report any defects on these vehicles.
• Ensure that all repair documents are completed as required.
• Carry out PDI's / safety checks / levels checks and bodywork inspection on all types of vehicles
• Constructive liaison with workshop team members and working to deadlines
• Be able to maintain a high level of efficiency

Skills and expertise

• Highly motivated with a strong focus on quality
• Brand experience is preferable, however manufacturer training will be supplied
• Ability to carry out PDI, safety, levels checks / bodywork inspections and report accurately
• Ability to work accurately to deadlines with set repair times whilst meeting set KPI's
• Positive and flexible attitude to work with a right first-time desire
• Full driving licence
