Job summary

Auto Skills UK in Leeds is seeking a PDI Technician to join our busy depot. You will perform Pre-Delivery Inspections on new and used vehicles, diagnose faults, and work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service. The role requires an NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and a full clean UK driving licence.

A strong attitude, time management, and commitment to safe, economical servicing are essential. Basic salary £46,000 to £47,000 Per Annum DOE & Qualifications.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• PDI Technician experience in the automotive industry.
• Good attitude and time-conscious.
• Full clean UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections on vehicles and diagnose faults.
• Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Ensure safe, economical servicing and repair of customer vehicles.
• Fit and attach fixtures such as roof deflectors and mud flaps.
• Complete repair and service records.
• Support company security and protect customer information.

PDI Technician

We currently have a vacancy for a PDI Technician to join our busy Leeds Depot.

Shift Pattern 47 Hour Week

Monday to Friday 07:00am to 16:30pm

Basic Salary = £46,000 to £47,000 Per Annum DOE & Qualifications

The PDI Technician Role

• Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections on new and used vehicles and diagnose any faults
• Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service
• Ensures effective use of technical knowledge and skills enabling efficient, economic and safe servicing and repair of customer vehicles
• Fit and attached all fixture and fittings such as roof deflectors and mud flaps
• Complete repair and service records/ other appropriate activities
• Actively supports company policy and best practice in the area of security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information

Skills and Qualifications of a PDI Technician

• NVQ Level 2 / 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Previous PDI Technician experience within the automotive industry
• Good attitude and a time-conscious individual
• Full clean UK Driving Licence
