Job summary

Rocket Staffing Group Ltd is seeking a PDI Technician in Corby. The role involves preparing vehicles to PDI schedules for client fleets, diagnosing defects, and ensuring all repair documents are completed.

You will perform PDIs, safety checks, levels checks and bodywork inspections across various vehicle types, coordinating with the workshop team to meet deadlines and maintain high efficiency. The position offers an hourly rate of £16 and requires a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience performing PDI and safety checks on vehicles.
• Ability to inspect bodywork and report defects accurately.
• Must hold a full driving licence and be able to work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare new vehicles in accordance with PDI schedules for client fleets.
• Diagnose and report any defects on these vehicles.
• Ensure that repair documents are completed as required.
• Carry out PDIs, safety checks, levels checks and bodywork inspections on all vehicle types.
• Constructive liaison with workshop team members and work to deadlines.
• Maintain a high level of efficiency.
