Job summary

Billingham and Norton Primary Care Network is recruiting a Network Manager to run day-to-day operations across seven general practices. The postholder oversees governance, budgets and the ARRS funding stream, and helps shape the network's strategic plans alongside the Clinical Director.

The network serves about 51,000 patients and employs a mixed team that includes pharmacists, social prescribers, counsellors and physiotherapists, working closely with the ICB and local partners.

Qualifications

• Degree level education or equivalent experience.
• Operational or project management experience in healthcare or related sectors.
• Budgets and financial reporting experience.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and building partnerships.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational functions of the PCN.
• Develop, monitor and report on PCN budgets and financial performance.
• Manage funding streams, including the ARRS.
• Lead implementation of NHS initiatives at national, regional and local levels.
• Support delivery of the PCN's strategic objectives and operational plans.
• Monitor KPIs and help practices meet contractual and performance requirements.
• Maintain governance frameworks, risk registers and assurance processes.
• Lead workforce planning and organisational development.
• Coordinate PCN meetings, working groups and stakeholder engagement.
• Prepare reports, business cases and papers for the PCN Board.
• Develop and maintain project plans to meet objectives on time.
• Build partnerships across practices, providers, local authorities, the ICB, VCSE groups and patient participation groups
