Job summary

Megger is seeking an Electronics Technician to join the PCB Test Team. You will support board-level assembly, testing, inspection, fault-finding, repair and rework of PCBs in a busy manufacturing environment.

You will diagnose faults at component and board level, carry out repairs, and ensure products meet quality, reliability and performance standards, working with Engineering and Quality teams on defects and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with PCB soldering, repair and rework (SMD/through-hole).
• Ability to read circuit schematics, PCB layouts and technical docs.
• Experience with electronic test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes).

Responsibilities

• Carry out automated and dedicated testing of PCB assemblies per procedures.
• Diagnose faults at component and board level using schematics and docs.
• Perform SMD and through-hole soldering, desoldering, component replacement and PCB rework.
