They are currently seeking a skilled PCB Technician.

Job Details

Title: PCB Technician

Department: Production

Reports To: Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Solder, wire, and form components to military standards (J-STD).
• Follow written work instructions accurately.
• Maintain a keen eye for detail and high concentration levels.
• Distinguish colours correctly.
• Possess good manual dexterity, literacy, and numeracy skills.
• Apply knowledge of magnetics wiring and wiring diagrams/schematics.
• Use workshop tools effectively.
• Perform precision soldering of electronic components on PCBs per military standards.
• Inspect and rework soldered joints for quality assurance.
• Follow detailed work instructions and diagrams.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Document and report defects or issues.
• Collaborate with quality control to improve processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• IPC-A-610 qualification or equivalent.
• Good time management and a positive, methodical work approach.
• Experience with soldering equipment and electronic component recognition.
• Self-motivated.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hours: 38 per week, Monday to Thursday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Friday 8:30 am - 12:30 pm.
• Pension: Group Stakeholder Pension Scheme (Company contribution 5%, employee minimum 4%).
• Holiday: 23 days (194 hours).
