Job summary

MET Recruitment is assisting a well-established manufacturing business in Telford to recruit a PCB Production Operative to join the Routing Department. The role is a long-term position with potential to go permanent.

You will operate CNC routing machines, route internal pieces and ensure products meet quality standards, while following production schedules and maintaining a safe workspace. The position is Monday to Friday with temporary-to-permanent prospects.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• CNC routing experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work to production targets.
• Reliable and flexible approach to shift work.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC routing machines to separate finished circuit boards from mother panels.
• Route internal piece parts to create windows for bonding PCBs.
• Ensure products are manufactured to required quality standards.
• Follow work instructions and production schedules.
• Carry out basic machine checks and report any issues.
• Work closely with the Test and Inspection departments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
