Job summary

MBDA UK Ltd in Stevenage is seeking an Electronics Failure Analysis Engineer to diagnose and resolve hardware issues within our highly complex electronic sub-systems, from concept through to production.

You will work hands-on with fault-finding, lab work, and root-cause analysis, collaborating across internal teams and with international partners, with opportunities for career development and flexible hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Experience fault finding circuit card assemblies to component level using test equipment.
• Ability to manage work packages with cost, quality and schedule balance.
• Understanding of PCB manufacturing processes and component specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess component failures via fault finding and laboratory work with support departments.
• Support development and evaluation of new processes for component failure analysis at national and international level.
• Understand materials and processes of circuit card assembly influencing failures.
• Compile reports and contribute to documented standards within teams.
