Job summary

MBDA seeks an Electronics Failure Analysis Engineer to diagnose, analyze and resolve hardware component issues in complex electronic subsystems. You will work hands-on from concept to production, applying fault-finding, lab work and root-cause analysis in a dynamic environment.

As part of the PCB Technologists Team, you will collaborate with internal and external partners to develop new processes and support production.

Qualifications

• Fault finding circuit card assemblies down to component level.
• Managing work packages, with ability to balance cost, quality and schedule.
• Understanding electronic design, component specification, PCB and sub-assembly manufacturing processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assess component failures via fault finding, laboratory work and collaboration with engineering teams.
• Support development and evaluation of new processes and equipment for component failure analysis at national and international level.
• Understand materials and processes of PCB/assembly and how they influence failures.
• Compile and generate reports and contribute to standards within national and international teams.
