MBDA UK is seeking an Electronics Failure Analysis Engineer to diagnose, analyse and resolve hardware component issues across complex electronic sub-systems, from concept through production and beyond. You will perform fault-finding, laboratory work and root-cause analysis in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Engineer with a passion for problem-solving to support the development of our component failure analysis capability.
Salary: Up to £40,500 depending on experience.

As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

As part of MBDA’s Electronic Engineering function, you will be part of the PCB Technologists Team who are responsible for providing a technical support service for all internal programs in the UK and working with non-UK teams developing new technologies across all areas of PCB design, manufacture and assembly. This is a unique opportunity to develop an extensive technical skill set unlike anywhere else in industry.
The PCB Technologists are adaptable and determined in providing a service, supporting all aspects of PCB Technology and the Component Engineering, PCB Layout and CCA Manufacture departments. It requires close collaboration with all stakeholders (internal and external) against agreed timescales to meet project deliverables. This role embodies the MBDA core values.
