Job summary

NextGen Recruits is partnering with a global PCB leader based in Devizes to appoint a dynamic Business Development Manager. You will drive UK sales growth by winning new accounts, expanding existing relationships, and shaping strategy with engineering and supply chain teams.

The role requires at least 5 years in PCB sales, a technical background, and strong negotiation skills. You will travel across the UK and occasionally globally, deliver forecasts, manage quotes, and help customers optimise

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Electronics or Business preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in PCB sales or electronics components industry.
• Proven track record in business development and account management.
• Experience using Cognism & Microsoft D365.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new customers in target sectors.
• Develop strategic account plans and deliver against revenue and margin targets.
• Prepare accurate forecasts and contribute to UK growth strategy.
• Act as the primary contact for customers, ensuring exceptional service.
• Understand customer needs and provide tailored PCB solutions.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms per company policies.
• Work with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth delivery.
• Manage quote-to-order process and ensure on-time delivery.
• Provide technical advice on PCB design and manufacturability.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
• Represent the client at trade shows, conferences and workshops.
• Support marketing campaigns and digital initiatives to boost visibility.
