Job summary

System Recruitment Limited is seeking a Sales Engineer for PCB Manufacturing to drive growth across electronics sectors. The role combines sales leadership with technical understanding of PCB manufacturing and laser processing, supporting customers from initial contact through to closed orders.

You will travel regularly to the UK HQ in Berkshire and to clients nationwide, including Ireland, with some overnight stays.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of sales or technical experience in PCB manufacturing, EMS, or electronics components.
• Strong knowledge of PCB fabrication processes, materials, stack-ups, and quality standards (IPC, ISO).
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong customer-oriented mindset and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Business Development.
• Identify, target, and acquire new customers in electronics manufacturing and related industries.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and margin targets.
• Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations, demonstrations and proposals.
• Close high quality, profitable business.
• Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships.
