Aldanat Care Services in Harwich is seeking an experienced PBS Support Worker to provide person-centred care for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will support individuals to live as independently as possible, following agreed strategies and promoting wellbeing, safety and dignity.

You will work alongside a team, staying patient, observant and calm in challenging situations, with a professional and reliable approach and a commitment to high-quality care.

Formación

• Previous PBS support experience essential.
• Experience with learning disabilities preferred.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Patient and observant with good communication.

Working within a Positive Behaviour Support approach, you will help provide consistent, person-centred support that promotes wellbeing, choice and independence. You will work alongside colleagues to understand individual needs, follow agreed support strategies and create an environment in which the people we support feel safe, respected and understood.

The successful candidate will be patient, observant and confident in responding calmly to different situations. You must be able to communicate effectively, work consistently as part of a team and maintain a professional and reliable approach.

Previous relevant support experience is essential for this position.

Aldanat Care Services is looking for experienced PBS Support Workers to join a new service opening in Harwich. You will support adults with a learning disability and complex needs to live as independently as possible in their own bungalow.
