Job summary

Praxis Care is recruiting for a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Worker in Portadown Bespoke Services. This role involves supported living with individuals who have complex needs, including autism and learning disabilities, using PBS to improve lives.

You will work in a dedicated team, modelling daily living skills, administering medications where required, and supporting personal care, meals and community activities.

Qualifications

• 1 year paid experience providing care and support to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, complex needs or challenging behaviours.
• QCF/NVQ/RQF Level 3 in Health and Social Care required; RQF Level 3 planned on probation if applicable.
• Right to work in the UK required.

Responsibilities

• Work with PBS Leads, MDT, and clinical teams to prepare and implement individual and group support programmes.
• Apply PBS theory to daily work to achieve positive outcomes for the people supported.
• Assess and address complex behaviours using professional judgement and negotiation.
• Assist with procurement and maintenance of assets and manage expenditure within allocated budgets.
• Record information per service guidelines and support data collection and analysis with MDT.
