Care First Recruitment is seeking a passionate Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to support adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs in Leicester and surrounding services. You will develop and implement person-centred PBS plans, travel between services across Leicestershire and nationally, and work with supported living teams to promote independence and wellbeing.

The role offers a generous salary (£36,776.07 per annum) and mileage along with career development

Qualifications

• A Level 5 PBS qualification or Level 4 with willingness to upgrade.
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and/or mental health conditions.
• Strong person-centred approaches and PBS knowledge.
• Good communication, assessment and care-planning skills.
• Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle.
• Willingness to travel across Leicestershire and nationally

Responsabilités

• Developing, implementing and reviewing individualised PBS plans.
• Supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions.
• Identifying triggers and developing proactive strategies.
• Promoting dignity, independence and quality of life.
• Collaborating with staff, families and professionals.
• Providing guidance, training and embedding PBS principles.
• Monitoring progress and adapting strategies.
• Travelling between services as required
