Care First Uk Recruitment Solutions is seeking a passionate Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner in the Leicester area. The role focuses on developing and implementing person-centred PBS plans to promote independence and wellbeing for adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions.

You will work with support teams and professionals to deliver tailored strategies, monitor progress, and travel between services across Leicestershire and nationally when required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, assessment and care-planning skills.
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and/or mental health conditions.
• Level 4 or Level 5 PBS qualifications and willingness to progress to Level 5.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement and review individualised PBS plans.
• Support adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions in supported living.
• Identify triggers and develop proactive strategies to reduce challenging behaviours.
• Promote dignity, choice, independence and quality of life.
• Collaborate with support staff, families and multidisciplinary professionals.
• Provide guidance and training to teams to embed PBS principles.
• Monitor progress and adapt strategies to changing needs.
• Travel between services across Leicestershire and nationally when required.
