Job summary

Priory Hospital Woodbourne in Edgbaston near Birmingham is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to drive PBS across the service. The role focuses on person-centred approaches that improve wellbeing and reduce restrictive practices, and requires collaboration with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Salary ranges between £30,000 and £35,000 per year for a full-time post (37.5 hours/week).

Qualifications

• Essential experience in PBS or related fields and conducting behavioural assessments.
• Experience developing, implementing and reviewing PBS interventions.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.

Responsibilities

• Support behavioural assessments and delivery of PBS interventions.
• Deliver person-centred care and therapeutic activities.
• Assist with implementation and review of individual care plans.
• Promote a safe, structured and recovery-focused environment.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to support positive outcomes.
• Contribute to high-quality, holistic mental health services.
