Job summary

Priory Hospital Woodbourne in Edgbaston, Birmingham, is seeking a PBS Practitioner to deliver Positive Behaviour Support across the service. The role involves working with individuals, families and multidisciplinary teams to promote person-centred approaches, improve wellbeing and reduce restrictive practices.

You will support behavioural assessments, deliver PBS interventions, contribute to care plans and maintain high-quality mental health services.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) or related field.
• Experience conducting behavioural assessments and delivering PBS interventions.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and the Mental Health Act (1983).

Responsibilities

• Support behavioural assessments and the delivery of PBS interventions.
• Deliver person-centred care and therapeutic activities.
• Assist with the implementation and review of individual care plans.
• Promote a safe, structured and recovery-focused environment.
