Job summary

Network Plus in Worsley is seeking an experienced Payroll Project Specialist to support payroll transformation initiatives. The role requires hands-on experience with ADP, Civica, and Sage, and a track record in data migration, system implementation and process improvement.

You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and a seamless transition into new payroll systems while collaborating with HR, Finance and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of UK payroll legislation and best practice.
• Hands-on experience with ADP, Civica & Sage payroll systems.
• Proven data migration experience including cleansing, mapping and validation.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll system migration end-to-end: ADP, Civica, Sage data extraction, cleansing, mapping and reconciliation.
• Analyze and prepare payroll data for migration; review for accuracy and completeness.
• Create as-is and to-be process maps and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate testing: UAT, parallel runs, defect resolution, and statutory checks.
• Engage HR, Finance, IT and external vendors to ensure project alignment and delivery.
• Configure payroll rules, elements, GL mapping and HRIS/ERP integrations.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, RTI and pensions requirements.
• Assist with change management and handover to BAU payroll teams.
