Job summary

Third Space is seeking a Senior Payroll Manager to lead our payroll function across multiple sites in London. You will be the technical authority on payroll, tax and pensions, driving automation and building a high-performing team that delivers accurate, on-time pay with robust controls.

You will partner with Finance and People teams to optimise data integrity, ensure statutory compliance, and support business growth with scalable, auditable processes.

Qualifications

• Significant UK payroll leadership experience in a multi-site and/or multi-entity setup.
• Expert knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance, benefits and pensions.
• Proven track record of payroll transformation and automation.
• CIPP qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll across all group entities, ensuring accurate and on-time pay with strong compliance and year-end delivery.
• Lead payroll transformation and automation, replacing manual processes with system-driven solutions.
• Optimise payroll and people systems, improving data integrity and controls.
• Partner with Finance and the People team to deliver accurate reporting and reconciliations.
