Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is recruiting a Payroll Manager for a confidential, rapidly growing organisation in the United Kingdom. You will lead a payroll team across multiple sites, drive governance, reporting and process improvements, and play a key role in a major finance transformation project.

Reporting to the CFO, you will own payroll compliance, pensions and year-end processes while delivering insightful payroll analytics to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading payroll in a multi-site organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the payroll team across multiple sites.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and compliance.
• Own payroll governance, pensions and year-end processes.
• Develop meaningful payroll reporting and workforce analytics.
• Drive automation and process improvements within payroll.
• Support wider finance transformation and data quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR and operations to improve reporting accuracy.
• Establish controls and best practices across payroll functions.
• Act as senior payroll SME across the organisation.
