Trant Engineering Ltd is seeking a Payroll Technician for a 5-month FTC starting January 2027. You will deliver accurate payroll for weekly and monthly staff, ensure compliance with HMRC and GDPR, and provide admin support to HR and Finance.

You’ll maintain employee records, help implement payroll system improvements, and respond to payroll queries promptly while upholding the company values. Your work will contribute to timely, accurate payroll processing and data integrity across the

Qualifications

• Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance.
• Experience in processing payroll for a medium sized company.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll data including hours worked, overtime and bonuses.
• Process payroll runs for weekly and monthly staff.
• Calculate and process payroll deductions and reconcile timesheets/absences.
