RECfinancial are partnering with a well established business to recruit an experienced Payroll Team Leader in Leicestershire, offering hybrid working and a salary up to £35,000. The role is accessible from Wigston, Enderby, Leicester City Centre, Market Harborough, Lutterworth and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Proven UK payroll experience.
• End-to-end payroll processing knowledge.
• Strong understanding of PAYE, National Insurance, pensions and statutory payments.
• Previous experience supervising, mentoring or supporting payroll staff.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end monthly payroll processing.
• Managing payroll changes including starters, leavers and contractual amendments.
• Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and external bodies.
• Payroll reconciliations and reporting.
• Resolving payroll queries and discrepancies.
• Supervising and developing junior payroll team members.
• Supporting payroll controls, audit requirements and process improvements.
