Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a Payroll Team Leader to coordinate day-to-day payroll delivery across a complex organisation. Lead a talented team to ensure colleagues are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance.

Based in Leeds, Horforth office, the role is full-time and permanent, with a strong focus on governance and customer service and opportunities for development within the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading or supervising a payroll team.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation (PAYE, NI, pensions).
• Experience handling complex queries and regulatory compliance.
• Experience supporting TUPE, acquisitions or organisational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll operation, ensuring accuracy and deadlines.
• Provide technical payroll expertise and handle complex queries.
• Support payroll activities for TUPE transfers and acquisitions.
• Coach and develop the payroll team and promote best practice.
• Ensure HMRC, pension and GDPR compliance with robust controls.
• Drive process improvements, standardisation and automation.
