Stannah is seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to deliver accurate, compliant payroll services across the group. You will lead a payroll team, ensure on-time payments, and drive improvements in processes, controls, and data quality within the UK framework.

You will analyse large data sets, spot trends, and support decision-making with robust Excel skills. The role collaborates with Finance, HR, Tax and external providers in a proactive, organized environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing the end-to-end payroll process.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, PAYE, National Insurance and pensions.
• Experience leading or supporting a payroll team and meeting tight deadlines.
• Excellent Excel, payroll systems and data analysis skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage the payroll process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
• Lead and support the payroll team to deliver a high-quality service.
• Ensure payroll activities comply with legislation, policies, and controls.
• Build strong relationships with payroll providers and key stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements, reporting, and payroll system enhancements.
