Job summary

Gravita Business Services Ltd. in the United Kingdom is seeking an Associate in Payroll within our Outsourcing team to deliver a first-class payroll service across weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly and annual frequencies.

You will work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement in payroll processes. Responsibilities include HMRC filings, RTI submissions, auto-enrolment duties, year-end tasks and client invoicing, while building strong

Qualifications

• Some experience processing weekly and monthly payrolls, ideally in a bureau or client-facing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ongoing communication with HMRC to ensure compliance with statutory obligations and manage RTI submissions.
• Administer auto-enrolment duties, including assessments, opt-in/out processing, and contributions reporting.
• Handle starter checklists, P45s and P60s for onboarding and offboarding, with accurate record-keeping for audit purposes.
• Complete year-end processes including P60s, final submissions to HMRC and payroll reconciliations.
• Stay updated on payroll legislation and advise clients on regulatory changes to maintain compliance.
• Complete payrolls across weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual frequencies and ensure timely payments.
