Job summary

Commercial Services Group is seeking a Payroll Officer to join our busy payroll team in Kings Hill, offering hybrid working and a permanent contract. The role focuses on delivering accurate weekly payments for our temporary workforce, while upholding deadlines and strong customer service.

You will support payroll activities, handle data imports, respond to queries, and work with colleagues across payroll, recruitment and finance to maintain accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced payroll/administrative environment is desirable.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and data handling ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, plus relationship-building能力.

Responsibilities

• Manage weekly payroll processes for timely, accurate payments.
• Support payroll processing and data imports from CRM into Pay & Bill system.
• Resolve warnings and errors to ensure compliance with procedures.
• Assist with payslips, reconciliations and pension uploads.
• Handle high volumes of holiday requests from temporary workers.
• Respond to payroll queries from managers, workers and suppliers.
• Collaborate with payroll, recruitment and finance teams to resolve queries.
