Job summary

Price Bailey LLP is seeking a payroll professional to join our Payroll team, with roles based across our Norwich, Cambridge and Peterborough offices. You will support the expanding team with accurate preparation and provision of client payrolls and reports.

You will manage client payrolls from start to finish, liaising with clients and colleagues to resolve issues, and help drive efficiencies through automation and AI-enabled processes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of processing client payrolls from start to finish in a bureau/practice environment.
• Confidence using payroll software such as IRIS Payroll Professional, Staffology and Paycircle.
• Experience handling both routine and more complex payroll assignments.
• Strong working knowledge of PAYE, as well as payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Applies a forward-thinking approach to technology, leveraging automation and AI to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client payrolls from start to finish, including more complex assignments.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing a responsive and professional service.
• Reconcile payroll information, investigate and resolve issues, and work collaboratively with clients and colleagues to find solutions.
• Support other Payroll Processors with day-to-day queries and identify opportunities where clients could benefit from wider HR or employment law support.
• Help maintain high quality standards while keeping payroll knowledge up to date and completing time recording and billing administration.
