Zusammenfassung

Reed Payroll, partnering with a well-established charity in North Somerset, is seeking a Payroll Officer to deliver accurate payroll across weekly and monthly cycles. You will work across Finance and HR, handling amendments, journals, reconciliations and pension administration while driving process improvements.

The role offers flexible working arrangements, a focus on the right candidate and a supportive, values-driven environment. Salary ranges £35,000-£40,000 depending on experience.

Qualifikationen

• End-to-end payroll experience across weekly and monthly cycles.
• Experience preparing payroll journals and reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory payments.
• Pension administration including auto-enrolment.
• Experience with salary sacrifice schemes.
• Excellent Excel skills and data accuracy.

Aufgaben

• Processing weekly and monthly payrolls.
• Managing payroll amendments including starters, leavers, salary changes and contractual updates.
• Preparing payroll journals and reconciliations.
• Administering workplace pension schemes and auto-enrolment.
• Supporting salary sacrifice arrangements and employee benefits.
• Maintaining accurate payroll records and compliance with payroll legislation.
• Resolving payroll queries from employees and managers.
• Producing payroll reports and supporting month-end processes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls and efficiencies.
• Working collaboratively with HR and Finance to ensure data accuracy and seamless payroll delivery.
