Job summary

Bilfinger is seeking a Temporary Payroll Adviser to manage payroll end-to-end across multiple contracts for a 6-month FTC in the UK. The role requires processing pay under varied agreements, managing starter and leaver settlements, and delivering timely reports to stakeholders.

You will stay compliant with payroll legislation and liaise with HMRC and pension providers. The ideal candidate has solid payroll experience in multi-site environments, advanced Excel skills, and knowledge of HMRC

Qualifications

• Payroll experience in a fast paced multi site environment.
• Strong Excel and MS Office capabilities.
• Up to date knowledge of payroll and pension legislation.
• Knowledge of HMRC reporting including benefits in kind.
• CIPP qualification desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Process a payroll from start to finish across multiple contracts within a designated timeframe.
• Process pay in accordance with various pay agreements.
• Set up and process new starters.
• Process leavers and applicable termination payments.
• Calculate redundancy and notice payments.
• Calculate statutory and occupational payments such as SMP, SPP, SSP and maternity pay.
• Produce reports for various departments across the business.
• Liaise with HMRC, pension providers and Courts as needed.
• Maintain records and filing to a high standard.
• Keep up to date with payroll and pension legislation.
