DFS Group is hiring a Payroll Specialist in Doncaster to manage end-to-end payroll and pensions processing for the UK and ROI. You will ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll cycles, support auto-enrolment, pensions, and expenses, and drive process improvements while partnering with Finance, People and external providers.
The role requires 3+ years of payroll experience, proficiency with MHR iTrent and payroll software, and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.

As a payroll specialist you will be processing end-to-end payroll, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely processing of weekly/monthly payroll, auto-enrolment, pensions, expenses, over-payments, employment tax, and continuous improvement within area of responsibility. Partnering with business area's to provide support to colleagues, managers, and HR BPs. The role acts as a critical link with the business area of responsibility, focusing on support and customer service.
We’re looking for someone who hasMinimum 3 years experience in end-to-end payroll and pensions processingCan demonstrate their experience in supporting new technologies and/or systems changesHas a robust understanding of UK and ROI payroll and pensionsAn understanding of financial controls, compliance, regulatory requirements, and payroll & pensions legislationExperience testing new functionality and training team membersExperience in cross-functional stakeholder managementKnowledge of Microsoft and G Suite applicationsExperience across payroll & expenses software and pensions platformsExperienced user of MHR iTrent, Standard Life platforms desirableProfessional CIPP Payroll Technician qualification or Payroll Level 3 apprenticeship desirableDon't let it discourage you if you don't have all of this experience, it's a guideline that will help you hit the ground running.
