Job summary

DFS Group is hiring a Payroll Specialist in Doncaster to manage end-to-end payroll and pensions processing for the UK and ROI. You will ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll cycles, support auto-enrolment, pensions, and expenses, and drive process improvements while partnering with Finance, People and external providers.

The role requires 3+ years of payroll experience, proficiency with MHR iTrent and payroll software, and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of end-to-end payroll and pensions processing experience.
  • Knowledge of UK and ROI payroll and pensions regulations.
  • Experience testing new functionality and training team members.
  • Strong financial controls, compliance, and regulatory understanding.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support to Payroll Team Leadership to deliver high-quality payroll and pensions services.
  • Adhere to SLAs and KPIs aligned with business objectives.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure effective governance and issue resolution.
  • Deliver accurate payroll, pensions, and expenses reports with full compliance.
  • Drive standardisation, automation, and process improvements to reduce manual work.
