Job summary

Portfolio Payroll Limited is seeking a Payroll Senior to join a fast-growing accountancy client on a permanent basis. The role is hybrid, based out of Sidcup 3 days per week, delivering high-quality payroll services to a portfolio of clients.

You will lead end-to-end payroll processing, manage client expectations, support year-end and statutory reporting, and contribute to process improvements while guiding junior team members. Experience in a practice environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience processing payroll within an accountancy/practice environment is essential.
• Hybrid role; based out of Sidcup office 3x per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process own portfolio of clients from start to finish.
• Proactively manage client expectations regarding deadlines, scope and service delivery.
• Oversee year-end processing and other statutory reporting.
• Implement and maintain robust internal quality control procedures for payroll processes.
• Act as a primary point of contact for queries.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new team members.
• Contribute to continuous development and optimisation of payroll systems and workflows.

We are currently partnered with a large, fast-growing accountancy who are seeking a Payroll Senior to join their team on a permanent basis out of their Sidcup office. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high quality payroll services to a portfolio of clients and assisting more junior members of the team where required. Please note this role is hybrid and will require you to be based out of their Sidcup office 3x per week
