Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is recruiting a Payroll Administrator on a fixed-term contract in Solihull, with hybrid working. You will support a major payroll project focused on Payroll Benefits in Kind (PBIK) rollout, working with payroll and project stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to BAU.

You will assist with payroll testing, data validation, reporting, and training materials, ensuring compliance and readiness across the payroll function during the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Previous payroll administration experience.
• Knowledge of UK payroll legislation.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience supporting payroll projects, system implementations, or business process improvements.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using SAP ECC Payroll.

Responsibilities

• Support payroll project workshops, meetings, and stakeholder discussions.
• Document business requirements, process changes, actions, and key decisions.
• Assist with payroll data analysis, validation, and reconciliations.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT), Parallel Runs, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Log, monitor, and track testing defects through to resolution.
• Validate payroll calculations and outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Produce project reports, governance documentation, and progress updates.
• Support training materials, communications, and business readiness activities.
• Assist with the successful transition of project deliverables into BAU processes.
• Work collaboratively with payroll, HR, and project stakeholders throughout the implementation.
