Job summary

Phoenix Learning & Care Group in Devon (Head Office - Tiverton) is hiring a Payroll & Pensions Officer to manage payroll across multiple schemes and administer auto-enrolment, ensuring accurate, on-time payments.

You will support budgets, liaise with pension providers, perform payroll audits, and deliver GDPR-compliant reporting. We offer 28 days annual leave and a pension contribution from the employer.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal payroll processing with knowledge of payroll legislation.
• Understanding of auto-enrolment and pension schemes.
• Ability to work to strict deadlines with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly payroll processing for ~750 employees across seven payrolls.
• Administer workplace pension schemes and auto-enrolment processes.
• Conduct payroll audits, maintain data accuracy, and ensure GDPR compliance.
• Liaise with pension providers and respond to employee queries.
• Assist with budgeting data and project payroll activities.
